2010One of the best ways to help the homeless and hurting at the Jimmie Hale Mission is simply to serve a meal to those who need it most. Taking the time to fellowship and show that you care can make a big impact on someone's life. That's what the kids from The Church at Shelby Crossings did when they came out to volunteer at the Jimmie Hale Mission recently.

Students from Shelby Crossings Youth Group serve a meal
The students not only served a meal to the hungry bodies of the men in our program, but they also fellowshipped and shared the word of God to the hungry souls.
Students fellowship and share the word of GodMany people who serve with us say, "I feel like I got the blessing - not the other way around!" and while we assure them that helping blesses those that they served, we know that God does indeed bless everyone that comes through our doors.

Minister Brian Fulton led his group and the men in prayerIf you would like to share a blessing a help, you can do so by serving or by sponsoring meal.
Special thanks to Shelby Crossings Youth Group!
