2010Is the Bible Holy? In other words, do you believe it to be the “Word of God?” Is it true, and does it
have value? Can it help in decision making, and does it provide direction as we travel life’s highway? Is
the Bible the “road map to heaven” and the “textbook on living?”
The Biblically correct answer to these important questions is a resounding YES! II Timothy 3:16-17
says, “All Scripture is inspired (God-breathed) and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and
training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
Psalm 119:105 says, “Thy word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” And Psalm 119:11 says,
“Thy word I have treasured in my heart, that I may not sin against Thee (God).” Also, Psalm 119:160
says, “The sum of Thy word is truth….”
Is the Bible Holy? What do you say? How does your lifestyle respond? Does your character,
conduct and conversation confirm that you believe the Bible is Holy? Can your actions cash the check
that your mouth is writing?
Let me encourage you to be a Bible student (II Timothy 2:15). Get into the Word of God (Holy Bible)
and let the Word of God get into you. John 8:31-32 says, “…If you abide in My Word, then you are truly
disciples of Mine; and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”by Executive Director Tony Cooper
