2010Rick Burgess, of the famous Rick and Bubba radio show, visited the Jimmie Hale Mission on Monday, March 22nd. Rick spoke to the men of the Mission during their chapel session, sharing entertaining anecdotes and his personal testimony of faith.
Rick began by telling humorous tales that listeners may recognize from his radio show. After entertaining the guys for several minutes, he led into his testimony and how he became a full follower of Jesus. He also shared with the men how the tragic loss of his 2-year-old son strengthened his faith and led him share the gospel on a new level.
