2010Thanks to the Beasley Allen Law Firm, the kids at Jessie's Place, our shelter for women & children, have a new toy and tool that they otherwise would not have.
Putting it's motto, "helping those who need it most," into action, Beasley Allen Law Firm presented the Jimmie Hale Mission with a Wii, as part of its "Wii Give Back" campaign.

The Wii is a popular therapeutic tool that requires body movements similar to traditional therapy exercises and engages the brain and the imagination.
"We are so grateful to Beasley Allen for thinking of the women and children of Jessie' Place," said Dr. Malissa Smitha, Agency Director of Jessie's Place of the Jimmie Hale Mission. "The opportunity to have a Wii is incredible - certainly having something fun to do while being in a state of homelessness will help to lift spirits of both women and children. This will also be a great opportunity to provide a positive consequence for excellence in academic work and behavior."
If anyone would like to donate additional controllers or games, so that the kids will have more playing options, they may contact us at 205-323-0170 or email us at volunteer@jimmiehalemission.com
