I believe the best thing we can do as Christians is to constantly be aware of God's presence. The Apostle Paul says it another way in I Thessalonians 5:17, as "pray continually." Of course, this doesn't mean to have our heads bowed, our eyes closed and praying every minute of the day. What it does mean is to be in an attitude of prayer which will help us to stay focused on God and His ever presence with us.
When you focus on God, you will be aware of His Glory. God's glory refers to his unique and distinct characteristics of radiance, majesty, dominion, holiness and sovereignty. God is our creator, sustainer, provider, protector, redeemer, Lord and Heavenly Father. Our worship and praise are reserved for Him alone!
When you focus on God, you acknowledge His greatness. He is the only one true God. God is all powerful, all knowing, all present, eternal, immeasurable, infinite, unchanging, pure, perfect, just and loving. And we haven't even scratched the surface of describing His greatness. We can only comprehend a fraction of who God is!
When you focus on God you appreciate His Goodness. Psalm 136:1 says, "Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His loving kindness is everlasting." James 1:17 says, "Every good thing bestowed and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father..." The Bible is very clear that God is love and God is good all the time.
When you stay focused on God and His constant presence with you, life will take on a completely different perspective! It will change your outlook, attitude, conversation and behavior. Life will be better and the future brighter. All because of a Godly focus.by Tony Cooper
