  • Old Navy is having a coat drive to help Jimmie Hale Mission representatives distribute warm coats to the homeless.

Old Navy will host the One Warm Coat drive at its four Birminghamarea locations: Trussville, Wildwood, Crestwood/Eastwood and the Summit.

They will begin accepting donations of gently-used coats from Oct. 23 through Nov. 5.

The coats will help men, women and children of the Jimmie Hale Mission and Jessie’s Place, the Mission’s women and children’s shelter.

The four participating Old Navy stores will also be collecting canned or non-perishable food donations to help feed the hungry at the Jimmie Hale Mission.

jimmy hale.jpg  If you donate a coat or outerwear accessory you'll receive a 10 percent off your entire purchase that day.  You'll also receive a coupon for 10 percent off to use during the Old Navy outerwear sale from Nov. 6-12.

For information about the Jimmie Hale Mission ministries, please call (205) 323-5878 or at www.jimmiehalemission.com.
