2012The Jimmie Hale Mission is blessed to be part of a golf tournament for charity...

Birdies for Charity is a fundraising program designed to give charities and schools the opportunity to raise funds by generating contributions based on the number of birdies* made during the Regions Tradition golf tournament.
The Jimmie Hale Mission is blessed to be a recipient charity for this event. You can help by pledging a donation amount to the Mission for every birdie hit.
To pledge, just click here. You will be able to select the Jimmie Hale Mission as your charity of choice. There is a minimum pledge amount of $.02 per birdie and an average of 900 birdies per game (that would amount to an $18 donation).
Want to have more fun? Play in the "Guess the Birdies" contest! The person that guesses the correct number of birdies during play (or has the closest guess), wins a Grand Prize "Stay & Play" trip to St. Augustine, FL! To participate for your chance win, click here for the pledge form with the contest entry form included.
*Birdies is a golf term used to described one stroke better than par, which is the normal expected score.

2012Photos from some of the recent May events with the Jimmie Hale Mission...
So far, the month of May has proved to be a very busy one for the Jimmie Hale Mission ministries. In looking back at these recent events, we wanted to share some quick updates and photos with you.
Gardendale Magnolia Festival
The Jimmie Hale Mission has been a part of the Gardendale Magnolia Festival for several years and we've enjoyed watching this event grow and prosper - it seems to get bigger and better every year! We also enjoyed meeting people that stopped by to say hello.

This year, we held our 2nd Annual SHRED Day at our Homewood and Adamsville Mission Possible Bargain Centers. We were blessed to have Secure Destruction donate their shredding services. All they asked was that people donated $3 per box or bag to the Mission. We were blessed to raise over $300 this year!

This lady was happy to be able to shred her items! Volunteers Mark and Randy helped people unload their papers.Trussville Dog Daze
This was also our second year to participate in the Trussville Dog Daze. We were happy that the weather was cool and the rain held off so we could meet and greet all our Mission friends at the event. If you stopped by to say hello, we appreciated it!
