2010Savers rejoice! The Mission Possible Bargain Center, located in Hanceville, Al., will be celebrating its Grand Re-Opening Celebration on May 8. The celebration will last all day on that Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and is open to the public.
The Jimmie Hale Mission will be celebrating the expansion of their Hanceville thrift store located on Hwy. 31 near Hanceville’s City Hall. The festivities will begin at 9 a.m. with a ribbon cutting ceremony and will include a 25% off sale on all merchandise, free food and drinks courtesy of Little Caesar’s beginning at 11 a.m. and a chance for all attendees to register to win a brand new piece of furniture.
The expansion will allow for more merchandise to be collected – items for all stores are collected through donations – which can be sold to raise funds for the Jimmie Hale Mission ministries.
The Hanceville Mission Possible Bargain Center is one of three locations that operate as a fundraising thrift store for the Jimmie Hale Mission’s ministries. Two other stores are located in Eastwood and Pinson. All stores will take part in a 25% off sale on that Saturday.
Those who are interested can call the Jimmie Hale Mission at 205-323-5878 or the Hanceville Bargain Center at 256-352-6068 for more information. You can also visit the Bargain Center’s webpage at www.jimmiehalemission.com/bargaincenters for shopping and donating information.

2010The Jimmie Hale Mission has recently begun offering tours of all of our facilities - Men's Center, Jessie's Place for Women and Children and Royal Pines Recovery Center - to educate those in our community about the truth about homelessness, what we do and how they can help.
The most recent tour was held on Friday, April 30 at our Shepura Men's Center, located at 3420 2nd Ave. N., near the Water Works. Attendees got a behind-the-scenes look at how we help the less-fortunate in our area.

2010It's not too late to sign up for our upcoming tour of the Jimmie Hale Mission's Men's Center. Aptly named, "I Had No Idea," because that is what many people say after completing a tour of one of our facilities.
Outside view of Men's Center Gazebo, Chapel and KitchenTour attendees will get an inside look at the true causes of homelessness, what we do and how they can help.
