2012Thanks to you, there'll be warm hearts and warm feet this winter!
Here's an update to a blog we brought you back in August. From August 15 to September 3, the Jimmie Hale Mission was blessed to be a part of the Association of Gospel Rescue Mission's and Disney's Sock Drive campaign, inspired by the movie, The Odd Life of Timothy Green.
At five of our seven Mission Possible Bargain Centers and at the Carmike Summit 16 theatre, we placed donation boxes where you could donate socks to the homeless and hurting.
Well now the drive is over and the results are in! Through the entire donation campaign, thousands of socks were donated and Hanes, a partnering organization, has donated an additional 10,000 pairs (to be distributed nationwide).
Thank you for your support and for keeping hearts and feet warm this winter!

Are you looking to get the kids' - or your own - back to school shopping done? As you head out to check items off your list, don't forget to check out all the bargains at our Mission Possible Bargain Centers.
You can find a lot of great deals at any of our fundraising thrift stores (see bottom for all locations), especially on clothes. Kids grow out of clothes so quickly that often you can find incredible outfits that are very gently used, or in some cases, even brand new!
What would you rather pay?
Let's be honest; what would you rather pay for a pair of jeans your child will likely outgrow in a year (at best!)? $2.99 or $50 (again, at best!)? 2012Stock up on bargains before the 4th of July holiday...
Join us this Saturday, June 30th at any of our seven Mission Possible Bargain Centers. We'll be celebrating the upcoming 4th of July holiday with a "4 for the 4th" sale at all of our fundraising thrift stores.
From 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., shoppers at any of our locations will get 40% off their entire purchase. What a way to get a bargain and give a blessing!
